hai…. what do you want to know about me?
i think nothing special about me, but i will tell you something, though
…
my name is abrilianty octaria, but you can call me abril, just like most of my friends did.
easy going, creative, (little bit) stubborn, active and sensitive are the five words i supposed could describe about my personality.
i’m trully libra who was born in sunny morning on october 5th, twenty seven years ago. now i’m married with chubby loving handsome man, who i called mas bayu. in the end of 2007, we had a gift with cute beautiful little baby girl, and we named her cheryn alisya wulandari. now, in her 2 years old, she is more and more adorable.
eighteen years i lived in jakarta, the most populated (and also polluted) city in indonesia. after i graduated from high school, smun 70 jakarta, i continued my education in architecture school, institut teknologi bandung. so, i moved to bandung and become anak kost. for almost five years, since 1999, i dreamed to be an architect, not just architect, but i wanted to be really famous architect with international reputation who designed many great buildings hahaha…. but dream was just a dream. in my last year in college, i decided not to be an architect. so i changed my dream into being an entrepreneur, who could opened job for someone. as you know, being entrepreneur is not that easy, esp in the money-thing haha… so, just let it be my wildest dream.
after my graduation i worked as a full-time asisstant researcher on centre for research and tourism development, known as P-P2Par, one of research centre in LPPM-ITB. my job forced me to learned more and more about tourism, now i realize its a very interesting subject. one of its reason is because tourism planning consists of many aspect and field study, not just travel agent or hotel management, but could be more complicated…
in the same time, i also had various part-time job, such as architect, interior, and also graphic designer. these was for sharpen my skill and capability, so im not losing my design knowledge.
since in high school i liked to do outside activities beside my primary schedule. when lived in bandung, i joined a few communities such as, bandungtrails and greenmap bandung. i love reading books, cooking new recipes, travelling and of course taking a walk in my spare time. i also interest in photography, cultural studies, heritage, culinary, paintings, graphic design, traditional handycrafts, and of course architecture.
after nine years full of excitement in bandung, in the end of 2007, our little family had to moved (again -for me) to jakarta (sigh*). so i had to made a lot of things to do to organized our (my) life… resigned from work, searched for new job, got new living place, till packed and re-packed stuffs.
now, i think we have a great life ever. i’m working as a staff in one of central goverment in our (messy) country. the biggest change, we (finally) have our own small lovely home in cirendeu… hehe
if you ask me, what do you do now? my answer is after working from 9 to 5, i just really enjoy being a mom and a wife
